One WarmCoat

Once again Bay Area residents will be opening up their hearts and their closets to help make sure no local resident has to go without a coat this winter. This Holiday Season, Bay Area residents are poised to help even more people than ever stay warm.
Several major shopping malls, shopping areas, and businesses have joined in the effort to assist One Warm Coat in collecting clean, reusable coats and jackets. Coats of all shapes and sizes are welcome and children's sizes are most needed. One Warm Coat is a wonderful way for your family to pass along coats and jackets that you no longer need.
Donating a coat is so easy. Just bring your coat with you while you're out doing your Holiday shopping. Visit www.onewarmcoat.org for a complete list of drop-off locations. Coats collected will be given to St. Vincent de Paul for distribution to those in need, free of charge.
The Greater Bay Area St. Vincent de Paul Societies are one of several organizations involved in the picking up and distribution of coats for the One Warm Coat project. St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County, headquartered in Oakland, is taking the lead for the Greater Bay Area St. Vincent de Paul's on this One Warm Coat effort.
Our contact, Tom Gahl, can be reached at (510) 385-7363 or tgahl@svdp-alameda.org. Please contact him if you have any questions regarding pick ups.
